Hi Friends,<o:p></o:p>
 <o:p></o:p>
   I have to run a Critical method which i have implemented as Webservice(the job is
to export data from a corporate HQ to another), this web method uses the
<WebMethod(TransactionOption:=TransactionOption.RequiresNew> ,to achieve transaction.
now transaction is managed by DTC(Distributed Tranaction Co-coordinator) .My doubt
is which DTC actually manages this transaction,. the DTC on the machine which hosted
the web service or on the Client(Caller)' machine. one more, if i call a long running
web service and if in-between the connection between the caller and Web service
machine gets lost, what will happen? whether the invoked web service continue
processing or client will throw a soap exception and stop?. whether every call to a
webservice initiates a new thread to service each request or how it is actually
happening?<o:p></o:p>
 <o:p></o:p>
 <o:p></o:p>
Thanks&Regards,<o:p></o:p>SubinKurian
