In my application I had a SplashScreen, Login Form and an MDI form. My startup form is Splash Screen. Form the splash screen, I create an instance of Login form and from the login form I create an Instance of MDI form. Here I want to Close(not Hide) the splash screen when the login form is shown. and if the MDI form is Shown, I want to hide the Login form. I tried this by closing the form by calling the close method of the form but the application ends, because it is the parent form. Is there any way to do this. I think the splash screen, other forms in memory is a waste of physical memory. Thanks in advance Cenray.
