Hi group, I have summed up some of the feedback we got for the previous UG Meeting:
Time Management More Demos and show code Take in depth topics
like Remoting Want a basic overview of .NET Ladies in the group want the
meeting to start earlier Points 3 and 4 , are contradictory but I found this feedback
from more than 2 people. We shall move gradually from Basic topics to advanced topics.
Last meeting we covered History of Computing, ie what computing was like before
.NET and Introduction to .NET We have two volunteers to do some demos and give
an intro on ASP.NET for the next UG meeting. Please send in your ppts + agenda that
you plan to cover to [EMAIL PROTECTED] We will ensure that from now on we stick to the
time limit assigned and if the ppt demands more time allocate more time for the talk
in advance. Next UG Meeting has been decided to be held on Jan 24, Saturday evening
3.30 - 5.30 pm. We haven't worked out the details of the talks, I may do an intro
session on ASP.NET Webservices [ 1 hour session]. Please check the homepage for
details, we will update the details there. I am adding a link "Previous Sessions" to
the cochindotnet page, Roshan please upload your ppt there. Those who missed the talk
can make use of the ppt. And before I end, Thank you all for making this a success.
I hope we can go a long way together. We had students from RIT Kottayam, MEC Cochin,
AICT, CUSAT and Nirmala Institute and Developers from Cochin - 30+ members which is
definitely a good start :) If I have missed something, feel free to add it in a mail
to the group. Regards, Dolly
