Is there any way to use SqlTransaction with SqlCommandBuilder? Eg. SqlConnection
Con = new SqlConnection(ConnectionString);
Con.Open();
SqlTransaction Trans=Con.BeginTransaction();
DataSet Ds=new DataSet();
string sql = "select * from Emp where 1=0";
SqlDataAdapter DataAdapter = new SqlDataAdapter(sql, Con);
SqlCommandBuilder CommandBuilder = new SqlCommandBuilder(DataAdapter);
SqlCommand InsCmd= CommandBuilder.GetInsertCommand();
InsCmd.Transaction = Trans;
DataAdapter.Fill(Ds,"Employee");
DataRow Dr = Ds.Tables[0].NewRow();
Dr["Emp_Code"] = "1";
Dr["Emp_name"] = "Aaaaa";
Ds.Tables[0].Rows.Add(Dr);
DataAdapter.Update(Ds, "Employee");
MessageBox.Show("Inserted");
Trans.Rollback(); When using this it generates OperationException like... An
unhandled exception of type 'System.InvalidOperationException' occurred in
system.data.dll Additional information: Execute requires the command to have a
transaction object when the connection assigned to the command is in a pending local
transaction. The Transaction property of the command has not been initialized.
Thanks in advance... Cenray
