----------------------------------------------------------- From: Z?�n Message 1 in Discussion Hello Friends, I started this group and I was in a fear whether I would be alone cause my knowlege in .NET prior to this group was only what i had concieved as a migrant from core java. nothing more nothing less. I was afraid cause before you make a statment you should be sure what you know is right or wrong and there was no one to tell me . I started this with no more than an intention to understand a simple new language called C# .. ( similar to java ofcource ) .. Jamsheer had gotten me into this and i barely new Rosh when this began .. and it bought me closer to realize the magnitude of this.. To me .NET has become more of an ideology rather than a technology .. Thanks Roshan , Pooja , JK sir , Jamsheer.. and all the people who have managed to make this .. cause my intention was only to share .. and we have come far from what it was when this began .. * * 13 didnt seem that unlucky i guess.. nice to be there on the list of group on the MS site. ** Hope we can do more.. and broaden what we know .. it would be nice if more domains in .NET were posted.. I have been on the compact framework for some time and cant begin to imagine how well structured handheld programing has become compared to eVB...I will try to send in a few posting regarding this cause i guess its one area where there is quite a lot of potentional and i expect more to come out from MS. Support for oracle has grown with its own data provider.. yes ofcourse needs improvement compared to oralce integration with java. Hope we can bring in more .. and take up from other groups like bdotnet .... I can honestly tell you one thing.. I feels real nice.. hope we can learn more.. and share more.
