----------------------------------------------------------- From: ___WHIDBEY Message 1 in Discussion Dear Friends, In one of Project i planned to do Visual Inheritance so i can minimise the coding in the fuctionality of the program, all i need to extra is place a GroupBox (Frame) Control over the buttons and place new buttons over that frame. But Visual Inheritance is not working saying an error message: " DataReader requires Connection and .........Connection is not opened" But i don't why it is showing like this.??? i dion't know how to open and keep a (in coding )connection open in designing stage. Better idea is i think copy & paste the entire form(.vb) and its .resx file and give a new name. Or just copy and paste the codes needed.
