The idea is to avoid sending the View State Data to and from the Web Server to the Client, which may be a Hand Held Device. The View State Server should be able to Retain the previous values for controls and the page by somehow hacking the values in and out. Before finalizing the Design, I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons of various Strategies. Any ideas appreciated.
