I must say I have had my cockapoo for 4 months now and what a great
dog. He is an addition to our 125lbs Rottweiler/Lab mix. They are
best freinds and if you can keep a secrete although we tell them
they are brothers they are not lol!! The cockapoo was only 2.5 lbs
when we got him and yes he wasn't eatin by the big lug. Actually
they are inseperable. Maybe my tolerance is high for doggy messes
(the rotts Potty is bigger than the cockapoo itself) but this dog
pretty much trained himself. He mimics every move of the big dog and
they actually cuddle and sleep together. This to me is unusual I
have never seen dogs that demonstrate that kind of love with another
animal. I usually hate little dogs and find them to very annoying,
if your like me you can change your mind real quick with a cockapoo.
Now I am worried because I want a saint bernard (dry mouth if i can
find one) and because he will be a huge puppy, Now I am worried he
might eat my little guy. The rott better protect him!!! We'll see I
guess!!! Junior which is the cockapoo will just get tougher I have
to admit adding a little dog to our lives had been a learning
experiences, mostly you have to drag your feet. We must have stepped
on the little guy 100 times, not to mention the rott stepping on
him. In the end we have all learned to live with each other, the bed
is just real cramped!!! Think I will have to purchase a California
King size bed before I get that Saint. This will be an interesting
story. I must mention the Rott thinks hes a lap dog and the cockapoo
thinks hes a beast how funny!!!!!
