Really good treats by the door so you can grab them fast and offer them? Oh that is my biggest fear too, them getting out.

We walk into the dining room when we come in, I put up 2 walk thru gates closing off the 2 entrances in the dining room so when someone is coming in or going out they are not allowed in that room. Has worked well with us, even though mine are older and trained not to go out the front door a passing squirrel could always change that and I'm not willing to take any chances. How old is Buttercup? Potty training is more learning her signs and habits and also depends how old she is, pups have very little control over these functions till they are 16 weeks old, from there with time and patience things get better.~~ Susan ~~
