Max is only testing you to see how far he can go and sounds like he is winning.  Puppy raising takes a lot of patience and repetition for a young dog to get it.  As to the mouthing Max is in the process of teething, while telling him no bite you should be replacing your body parts with something he can chew.  Another thing that works real well is a frozen wash cloth, wet and stick in the freezer, once frozen give it to him, it helps numb his gums.

For the stealing the pizza, you really need to be working on the drop it command if you don't things will only get harder as he gets older.  You start with one of his toys in his mouth as you are taking it away you tell him "drop it" or what ever few words you wish to use. Once out of his mouth you praise him while looking it over and then give it back to him, again praising him.  Serves 2 purposes if he has something he shouldn't eventually when you say it they will automatically drop it and number 2 you will be able to take anything away from him for the rest of his life.  This is something everyone should do from the time their new pup comes home.  All 4 of mine I don't even have to finish saying the word drop and they are spitting.  Again this takes patience and lots of repetition;

Cockapoos are the best, once you get thru the puppy stages, you will find yourself with the perfect pet for your family more times than not.
