I had the same problem with my cockapoo, Buffy, she
was licking and chewing her fur and skin until it
would bleed. She is two years old and has had 17
different kinds of food. No doctor no medication
could help. Then I talked to store where I buy her
food and I was told to try fish diet. I didnt
believe it would work, she has had Lamb, duck,
venison, vegetarian,
.. She started on fish diet 6
weeks ago, for about 3 weeks I didnt notice much
difference then after 4 weeks she stopped licking and
chewing and now after 6 weeks I am sure that the fish
diet is working. The chewing and licking has
completely stopped there is a little bit of itching
but not excessive. The brand of food I use is called
Zinpro. I give her Vegi Hearts for treat. Sometimes
she has carrots or apples, but that is it nothing
else. Her fish food smells bad and she really doesnt
like it but she eats it.

same problem with my 'daisy' benedryl didn't work for
her what spray
do you use? I also was told to try fish oil and lamb
food. Lamb
food helps but summer is bad. She hates just to walk
on the grass
especially in the morning when its wet with dew.
