generations are the same no matter the breed (hybrid)- I have 1st through 5th generation cockapoos with a litter of 6th in the oven.  we also have through 4th generation in doodles. as well doodles have breed backs as you have seen the f1b ( first generation cross back ) as common ( this is a doodle to a poodle to create a 3/4 poodle hopefully still mitigated well with the lab influence for bone structure while obtaining more the poodle hair for the hypo allergenic qualities) - this because the cross in the first generations is no where near as stable as the cockapoo.
