You may want to hold off on getting a puppy if you have financial
issues right now- in addition to the cost of the puppy, there are a
lot of expenses the first year- vaccinations, check ups, spaying and
neutering. Plus lots of supplies- crate, bedding, food, treats,
leashes, collars, toys, cleaning supplies...
I have spent more money on the "other stuff" than for the cost of
the puppy alone.

Plus if your pup has any health issues you need to follow up on, it
costs even more. If I were you, I would wait until you have some
cash saved up before purchasing the pup. This way if you have
unexpected expenses, you will be covered.

Good Luck!
Shari

i saw once was an english bulldog for a grand. Other than that most
pure breds are about 250-600. I thought a cockapoo puppy around here
would be up to maybe 300 the most. I really want a cockapoo pup but
when i got 20 grand in tuition i can't justify 500+ on a puppy right
now.

breeders I would take those too! Most purebreed puppies are $1,200
to $2,800 near me.
