Buffy was my first and didn't get Mikey till she was 6 months old, she bonded to everyone in the house, he bonded to her and all of us too, I run a large cockapoo list of more than 600 members and most that I know say the same thing as I'm saying, in some breeds yes that is so, in cockapoos it just doesn't seem that way, of course there are exceptions.  And the girls are daughters of Buffy and Mikey, they are bonded to Mom and Dad and to all of us also. 
 
Now for the submissive peeing most do outgrow this before 1 year old, some longer and some never outgrow it.    The thing is to try and not get her excited when people come in, have the people ignore her till she settles down.
