I read where some people keep a blind dog, As long as the dog is happy, getting around and doing well, dogs adjust
much better than humans when they go blind, long as he/she is in familiar
surroundings they will do well. Our last dog which was a schnoodle was
blind at the age of 11 and lived to be 14 just fine until other issues
happened. He did not stop him or slow him down.
