If you are talking about a crate/kennel.....I have a small crate that my cockapoo loves.....it is her home while we are away and whenever she feels uneasy about something (company visiting for example) she goes to her crate. I also used the crate her housebreaking her. There is all kinds of information on the internet on crate training and it worked wonderfully for us. Once she was housebroken, we bought one that was a little larger so she would have more room to move around. While you're housebreaking them, you want one only large enough for them to stand up and turn around in....otherwise they'll have accidents in it. I never use her crate as a place for her to go for punishment so its always kept as a positive space for her.
I hope this helps. My cockapoo loves just about any toy you give her and she plays with them all! Helen's right that they just love to chew and mine also loves the kong. If you have a couple small chew toys that she can play with and maybe a soft stuffed toy she will be thrilled. Just remember their mouths are small so don't get anything too big. Good luck.... > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Helen<mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: [email protected]<mailto:cockapoo%40yahoogroups.com><mailto:[email protected]<mailto:cockapoo%40yahoogroups.com>> > Sent: Wednesday, February 07, 2007 3:34 PM > Subject: Re: [cockapoo] new cockapoo > > > > Congrats on getting your new cockapoo. At Petco they have little treats called Charlie Bears.
