As for bed wetting - it sounds like you are letting your puppy stay in its crate too long. You might consider letting your puppy out to potty once in the middle of the night for about a month. 5 1/2 months may be too young to go all night without making.
As for destructive behavior, I would suggest that you may be giving your puppy too much freedom and not enough socializing. When you are not around to supervise your puppy and you don't want to confine it to a crate, try getting a "lead" at the pet store and keeping the puppy on the lead.
