Most pups that do have submissive peeing or excitement peeing out grow it by the time they are a year old. Couple of pointers if you know someone is coming over, take Dexter out 15 minutes before they arrive so he empties his bladder, next don't let the people make a fuss over him until he calms down and if he does have "happy sprinkles" don't make an issue over it, scolding him could also make it worse.
