Thank you. I did try to find these using the help feature in Xcode and the documentation that is included with Xcode but I did not get a hit. I also tried spotlight but no-joy. What is the best way to find equivalent methods like these? Most of my experience is in coding for POSIX/Linux/Unix and Win32/.NET. Though I could have included the C++ standard library, I think it is probably wise not to mix this with Cocoa.
