I'm not. But my point is that in most of our apps you'll find one or
two key things we can show can be done so much nicer with the dynamic
feature and Peter keeps asking about them, whereas you can just look
at AppKit and find a huge set of examples.
So while the dynamism and reflection supported by Objective-C are
useful to the frameworks that make up Cocoa, they're also very useful
when writing software atop Cocoa. Using the same design patterns and
functionality as the frameworks helps ensure your own software will
fit in well and be approachable by those who work on it next.
Agree completely - but for the purposes of this discussion the point
is that AppKit is the biggest "wow" example for Obj-C dynamism. I
pointed this out because it *seems* that while Peter keeps asking for
examples none wow him.
