Holy cow. I just instantiated an AVCaptureView in InterfaceBuilder, added AVKit.framework to the project, build, run and what to my wondering eyes did appear but my ugly face, live on my screen, via the FaceTime camera!! I still have to figure out how to get rid of the little control strip which appears at the bottom of the view when you mouse over it, and how to programatically select an external USB camera, but considering that I have read zero pages of documentation so far, I have high hopes that these tasks will be straightforward. _______________________________________________ Cocoa-dev mailing list ([email protected]) Please do not post admin requests or moderator comments to the list.
