Plug: I am writing a general-purpose FastCGI framework, CGIKit, for Objective-C, and couple this to any FastCGI-capable Web server (nginx, Apache with mod_fcgid even IIS) you get a complete Web stack. Also CGIKit is more likely than not to be able to be ported to Linux.
