I'm trying to read Data Matrix codes (like QR Codes) from static images, but it seems Core Image can only read QR Codes. AVFoundation seems to have more bar-code reading capabilities, but that seems wholly focused on real-time video capture.
I'm astonished that the decoding isn't better decoupled from AVFoundation.
