the default TXT application, nor with the default RTF application,
but instead always seems to open in TextEdit.
I suspect (but have no proof) that in the no extension/file type/
creator combination, LaunchServices falls back to the unix 'file'
command to work out the type of file based on its contents and decides
what app to launch.
