Don't, or at least, not yet. Learn C first, up to and including data structures and pointers; then you will be ready for ObjC and the frameworks. "The C Programming Language" by Kernighan & Ritchie is an absolutely essential book, but you'll also want any Unix-oriented book on learning C.

I'd also recommend learning Emacs or VI, and how to run GCC from the command line.
