This topic is always a big debate from what I can see!... :)

Personally I decided to go with AquaticPrime (and adapt it a bit)... It really depends on your view on the subject, personally I think, as other mentioned, that your app will probably gets cracked eventually anyway...

The way I see it: You've got two kind of people... those who are willing to pay for your app, and those who aren't... those willing to pay will probably not even look for a crack, let alone try to crack it themselves... those who are not willing to pay will probably do anything to get your app for free, and if they are good with a disassembler etc.. well the tougher your app is to crack, the more fun they have....

Basically Im using AquaticPrime just because it's a bit harder to crack than using a button saying "Click here to register this app and please send 10$ via paypal"....

This is only my 2 cents though so take it for what its worth! So far I'm satisfied with the result (keep in mind I'm talking about a small 10$ app here... of course I would probably take a different approach if I were coding something bigger/more expensive.. but I still think the same logic applies no matter what...)

Hi!

Does anybody know software protection systems for Cocoa apps and
bundles? Like in Windows ASProtect, Themida, etc.
