[[textView string]length];
Thats because NSTextView inherits from NSText which has "string" method.

Hi all,
I need to check whether the NSTextView contains any data.
For an NSTextField, [[txtName stringValue] length] should work.
Is there any method like this for a textView?

Thanks in advance
