Jeff,
Would the NSView (or NSWindow) method dataWithPDFInsideRect be a starting point
for you? It does let you obtain your view as PDF data.
Though, there might be a more direct approach to get what you need just by
using the basic printing classes.

Chapter 25 in Cocoa Programming (Anguish, Buck and Yacktman) on Printing
discusses this topic quite thoroughly. And Apple's documentation, "Printing
Programming Topics for Cocoa," covers this well too.
