It's not a *bad* thing, but the model editor won't let you do it. (If relationships A and B both have C as their inverse, what is C's inverse?)
If the size of the objects is not an issue, it's probably easiest to go ahead and have 3 pairs of relationships. The 2 "unnecessary" inverses then just become housekeeping that Core Data takes care of (that you otherwise forget about).
