Is there still a way to do this? I'm not even sure how to subclass objects in IB anymore, the GUI is quite a bit different than in 2.x. Am I missing it? All the Cocoa books & web references point to dragging the formatter from the Views pane onto your text field and configuring it, then overriding the methods.
