Folks;
I'm trying to write a pretty simple contextual menu plug in
I've modeled it after SampleCMPlugin. I just to the COM stuff
straight away.
I successfully compile and move the release product to ~/Library/
Contextual Menu Items
I log out and back in
I never see any of the printf() embedded in queryInterface() or
examineContext()
I never see the menu item (it is a text based item)
I know I must be doing something pretty silly but debugging this is
baffling me:
If I state a Custom Executable do I still need to logout and back in
(or restart the Finder?)
Do I move the debug product to the location mentioned above?
The UUID thing is confusing me as well.
I did 'genuid' and embedded that in info.pList but there is a second
UUID in SampleCMPlugin that is not explained....
Ahhh I'm frustrated -- Any help really appreciated!
Steve
