Which version of iPhoneOS SDK are you building for ? This sounds like
an issue that was fixed in 3.1.
Ah, great suggestion. I was using iPhoneOS SDK 3.0. I upgraded
but the problem persists.
There has been more discussion of known issues and work arounds for
the NSFetchedResultsController on the devforums. You might try
searching them, or looking at

OK, that's more good advice and thanks for the specific link.
I've just signed up for the iPhone Developer Program and am
awaiting approval so I can access that forum.
