My bad, it is command-escape on mine also.
I misinterpreted the icon as meaning enter, or rather, I thought it
meant escape, but nothing happened, so I tried command + enter and
Front Row came up - but it seems it just took so long to do that it
was really in response to my first command + escape, it just happened
to coincide with me hitting cmd + enter. A classic case of delay in a
feedback loop leading to something altogether different ;-)
But anyway, it does seem as if this is a very likely explanation for
my user's problem.
