Let's say I have a Unicode character such as U+21002 (CJK Unicode ext. B) and a certain font, say STHeiti. I would like to programatically determine if the font contains a glyph for the character. How can I do this?
I know that NSString(AppKitAdditions) has sizeWithAttribute: but that doesn't take the font into account and I don't want it to automatically substitute a font that has the glyph. I need to know for a specific font. I've looked into NSAttributedString and NSLayoutManager, etc. but I'm still haven't figured out a solution yet.
