NSPropertyListSerialization could probably help too. If Property List
Editor can't parse it though NSPropertyListSerialization probably
won't be able to either.
What happens when you:
NSLog(@"%@", [NSUnarchiver unarchiveObjectWithFile: @"/path/to/archive"]);
