Environment: SL 10.6.6, Xcode 3.2.4
This sample project, built for SDK 10.5, runs in release mode.
But in debug mode the call to DVDInitialize(), results in a
"Program exited with status value:45".
From the searches I've made this seems to be because of
DRM issues. This is usually attributed to checking for ptrace
which is probably what GDB uses.
So I have 2 questions:
(1) How can one step through the sample code provided by Apple?
Or more simply Is there a workaround to "Program exited with status
value:45".
(2) If not what on earth use is the sample code?
Personally I do not need to use the DVDPlayer framework for what I am doing.
It just strikes me as bizarre that this sample behaves the way it does.
(My cereal box did not have the magic decoder ring.....sigh)
