Hi Phil, I filed a request to Apple's bug system precisely for this functionality some 2 years ago, and got a reply back saying that it was a duplicate of bug ID# 5792695. I'm still waiting, but I suppose Apple is going to get to it at some point and offer a customizable UISwitch. Back then, my solution was to use a UISegmentedControl with two tabs but I see now that RCSwitch looks awesome and is probably a better alternative.
