So, do that. However, are you really sure? I remember thinking I needed this at one time and implemented a whole series of -deepCopy: methods in a variety of classes in a category on each. Works great, but in actual practice I think I used it once then figured out a better way to do what I wanted and no longer use this code, though it's still there if I ever do.
