Jens, I agree with all that you said, but I am unsure about that. One can disagree (I do) but still be willing to help. Anyway, sounds like one (possibly working) answer has already been given by Uli Kusterer. Should I be willing to take a bad design decision like this one, I too would try to walk down the view hierarchy and send a setFont: message to any responding view.
