Well, I knew it couldn't be as easy as this tutorial led me to believe:

If I do this, autolayout shrinks my entire UI!

I tried dropping it into a UIScrollView (which I'll need eventually; the image 
is a kind of map). That improved things a lot, but the outer, fixed UI 
(UINavigationBar across the top and toolbar across the bottom) still jitter and 
shake a lot. It also doesn't appear to rotate around the center of the two 
touch points.

Is there a good tutorial on how to make this work in the presence of 
autolayout? Thanks!
