Because your view controller is the delegate for the outline view, and thus it 
acts as the File's Owner for loading the cell view's embedded nib. Think about 
it: the cell view can't be File's Owner, because it lives in the nib.

Please read the documentation for -[<NSTableViewDelegate> 
tableView:viewForTableColumn:row:] and -[NSTablezview 
makeViewWithIdentifier:owner:].
