Right, but calling +currentInputContext is what actually activates it.  That 
is, I'm not surprised that comparing the output of the two methods shows them 
to be equal.  What I'm wondering is if calling +currentInputContext before 
-handleEvent: actually changes the behavior of -handleEvent:.
