See, the next one wants to have an option for each pattern and the third one ... I don't know. Do you see my point? This feature is not really requested by the community, at least there were no comments on the bug and nobody voted for it. An option for simpler patterns would be to replace the regular expressions with ant patterns. They seem to be simpler for directory/file/path based selections.
