Hi

I've tried this, too: 2 Multiple Apps inside a servlet engine, and
it worked.
The important point is !!!CLASSPATH!!!.
First I tried two apps and C2 jars are in the java-classpath, I failed.
Removing only cocoon.jar from java-classpath, and forcing the 
servlet-engine to use the WEB-INF/lib/cocoon.jar I had
problems compiling xsps. 
But removing all C2-jars from java-classpath it worked fine. By doing
this you have to relax the java-policy.
I have used WLS5.1 for this kind of testing.


Thus it is not a problem of C2 but a configuration/installation problem
of the servlet-engine you are using.
