The 'hang' appears after the redirect has been issued to the browser, and it is the return request that has the problem (appologies about the earlier report - symetrical sitemap :). The page accessed is fully supported when called directly, but fails as the subject of a redirect. If I change the redirect to point to the Tomcat root context, then all is well. Further information is that I'm running Tomcat 3.2.1, Cocoon 2.0rc1 and MS-IE 5.00.2314 running on WinNT 4.0 SP5. Just for kicks, I tested the same server configuration with IE 5.5 (Win2K) and the hang/stall does not happen. I hope that this helps, and that it can be resolved relatively quickly.
