Mathew, I sifted through the syncML docs as well as reading some examples from a friend who is currently working on syncML services.
I definatly think cocoon should be able to act as syncML server. I´m aiming at getting a cocoon up for some first test shots from my phone by end of next week. This will only serve as an inspirational experiment. I´m currently a database backend interface manipulating data through incoming xml requests that is generated into a sequence of queries that is the executed and results are return in the same "protocol" as the request. The next stage in this project is to be able to work with a snapshot of data offline and be able to syncronize to the backend. This makes my focus not so much on the typical PIM use of syncML, but rather syncing custom data. Of course i need my little baby (the T68) to sync my PIM stuff aswell, but I think that our coccon solution shouldn´t be limited to a certain type of data to syncronize. /Per-Olof Norén > Hi Per, > > I have just ordered a T65 :-).
