Ok,

I just received this (probably automatic) email message from "Jeff Covey
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>" about talking care of the Cocoon entry in
FreshMeat.

Now, let me say I don't use Freshmeat even if I'm a big fan of it and it
is a shame, IMO, that Cocoon is ranked as shit while Avalon is ranked
5th (yes, people, 5!!) in the whole freshmeat tree.

[well, having started both, I'm very proud anyway, but I'm kinda sad for
Cocoon's rating]

But this is mainly due to the fact that I *never* *ever* updated that
entry... mainly because I didn't even enter it.

The story is that some other user (back in the Cocoon 1.3/1.4 days)
submitted the entry and went away. Without even telling us! I had to go
thru hoops with the freshmeat guys to change the maintainer of that
entry to me and remove that person (I don't even remember who he was).

Now, I'd be *VERY* happy to pass over the hand to somebody else who is
willing to keep the project entry alive and not vegetating as it is
right now.

This should be done along with Cocoon 2.0 final to show the renewed
development life of this project.

What do you think? any committer volunteering for this?
