As explained elsewhere in this thread, we need to see it working as commandline and webapp contexts on all platforms ... still waiting on Mac. Yes John, we need to be really sure that (having fixed build docs) it still works as a webapp, and as you say as an unpacked war. I have never developed that way. Would someone please report. My method is to build install with path to war file, then start Tomcat which expands the war. Both tests below work for me on Linux, and i presume that both tests work for each reported platform. So can someone please report on John's new test.
