Some time ago I wrote a very quick and really dirty Cocoon Ant task, and I had to go the copy and paste approach which is really bad: this is just one of the examples of another possible Cocoon usage. But there are plenty of possible environments that might leverage Cocoon as an "XML Enabler" technology, if only it was easier to write Cocoon enabled applications. So, while I cannot guarantee lots of time as of now, I'd like to see if there is interest in this task from the team and, if so, start thinking about (I know that Stefano will kill me for this :)) a small set of APIs that might be embedded in different contexts (be it Servlet, Command Line, Ant tasks, EJBs and, why not, standalone applications). What about it?
