Why not... However, one might say that if we follow the example of
Apache HTTPD, Resin, Tomcat, etc, first page user sees is not a
documentation, but something different, with the link to the
documentation.
I do not have strong preference for any of these two ways...

Sometime ago I put together several (I hope) useful examples of cocoon:
protocol usage. It was primarily used by me to test this, but now I
sometimes recommend users to take a look there to understand
possibilities.

Good point. I have not seen any development on this app since (IIRC) it
get into CVS...
